| Description: | Riverbank Art Fair The Riverbank Art Fair is an outdoor art exhibition and sale held annually in conjunction with The University of Iowa. Like the Thieves' Art Market, the Riverbank Art Fair features artists from all over the Midwest and beyond. Artists compete to exhibit and sell their fine art work in painting, ceramics, photography, woodworking, drawing, jewelry, fiber, metal, needlework, and much more. The Riverbank Art Fair is held in the spring and is located at Hubbard Park on the University of Iowa campus in Iowa City, Iowa. A jury also selects the artists accepted into this show. Admission to the show is free to the public. Shows will continue rain or shine. Food and entertainment will also be provided. Dates for upcoming Riverbank Art Fairs: April 24th and 25th, 2010 | |||
