Description: The Red Wing Collectors Society is dedicated to preserving Red Wing and American pottery through its Annual July Convention.

This 3 day event features a members only auction, education sessions, KidsView and a show and sale. Also include are social events like the annual picnic and banquet.

Membership is $25 per year which include a bi-montly newsletter, ability to purchase the annual commemorative, and access to our members only resource section of our website.

EntertainmentThe Annual Convention features a Potter Picnic with food, games music and prizes. This event is sponsored by our Red Wing Chamber of Commerace annually at Colvill Park. To conclude the event of the Convention on Saturday the RWCS hosts a banquet at the Red Wing Golf Club. It features a slide show of Convention events, door prizes and good fellowship amoung fellow collectors.The RWCS Annual Conventions features a Friday night Pig Roast in a local park with food and music. Saturday night the Convention concludes with a Banquet. Both of these events feature door prizes
ActivitiesThursday evening of the Convention is our members only auction featuring over 300 pieces of Red Wing Stoneware, Dinneware, and Art Pottery. The items are from members collections. Friday is the Education day offering session for both the Novice and the Expert Red Wing Collectors. Session include discussion on Recent Dump Finds, What is new in the RWCS Foundation Museum, Salt Glaze, Dinnerware to name a few. In addtion, we also offer KidsView to our young Collectors. This program offers hands on education, an auction, and making their own stoneware. Satuday is the Annual Convention Show and Sale that is open to the public. Over 150 tables of great american stoneware. In addition to these activities we also have a Red Wing bus tour, displays, chapter meetings, and great fun and networking with fellow collectors.
