| Description: | Building on previous years success this art and craft show is offered in connection with Herbert Hoover Liberty Association and the National Park Services Hooverfest annual event. Located in the green space on Main Street guarantees quality traffic. This free one day event attracts over 2000 visitors. Low registration fee and high attendance makes it a great one day event for our vendors. An all-new Hooverfest takes place on Saturday, August 4th in West Branch, just east of Iowa City, at Interstate 80, exit 254. Activities are located on the Herbert Hoover National Historic Site and in downtown West Branch, hometown of our nationâs 31st president. Events begin at 10:00 a.m. Admission is free to all events. Allow extra arrival time, as parking, available along the streets of West Branch, is limited. Most of the town is within walking distance of the event. Handicapped parking is available at the Visitor Center parking lot. More information is available at www.hooverassociation.org. | All vendors are responsible for providing their own tents and tables. Food Vendors will be required to submit Nation Park Service Application Temporary Food Permits (http://www.nps.gov/heho/planyourvisit/upload/Temporary%20Event%20Permit.pdf) and abide by temporary event food guidelines. Vendors requiring greater then 110V must provide their own generators. | ||
