| Description: | Location: Figge Art Museum Advertisements in the 19th century came about primarily in the form of posters. Artists were hired to design large scale ads, using lithographs, for the popular consumer product to promote and sell. The product could be anything from something tangible to a Moulin Rouge performance ad. The Figge brings in the Krannert Art Museums collection, from the University of Illinois, of, Turn of the Century Posters. Admissions to the exhibit are $7 for Adults, $6 for Seniors, $4 for children ages 3-12, and free for members; students present ID at front desk for student discount.
