The fourth annual Northside Oktoberfest showcases the Bohemian nature of the Northside Marketplace with events that transport visitors to the streets of Munich. With polka music, traditional Oktoberfest attire and events, and the annual Iowa City Brew Fest, the Northside Oktoberfest offers a taste of the Old World to visitors.

We've always dreamed of this, taking over the street, having an event for 4,000 of our closest friends, having great food to go with amazing beer! Hawkeye fans need not worry, we'll have the ultimate big screen up in the Brewfest area, so you won't have to choose between beer or football, yes you can have your football and beer, come on down!

For the 2014 festival the Northside Marketplace businesses are coming together to throw pre-Oktoberfest or Blocktoberfest event parties on Friday, September 26th.
