| Description: | Heritage ArtFest at the Hall is a juried fine arts and fine crafts festival held in Sigourney, Iowa. Area veterans, local artists and art enthusiast have come together to organize the festival which will showcase local and regional artists of visual arts, performing arts, culinary arts and literary arts. The December 6, 2014 festival is the kickoff off for the summer Heritage ArtFest on the Square to be held annually during the last full weekend in July. The event is a celebration of the arts as well as of the rich heritage of the city and of its veterans. All proceeds from the Heritage ArtFest go to the area veterans groups for further distribution within the community. The December 6, 2014 Heritage ArtFest at the Hall, to be held at historic Memorial Hall, will provide shoppers with high quality and unique gift options just in time for the holidays and is free to the public. All artists of original fine art and crafts are encouraged to apply for exhibition space. Three emerging artists will be selected and featured in each festival. | ||
