Join us in Akron, Iowa, on the third Saturday of September each year for a day of family fun. Celebrate fall with food, children's activities and enjoy the scarecrow contest display in the beautifully-decorated park. Show your creativity by entering a scarecrow in the decorating contest $600 in cash prizes are awarded across three age categories.
