Buena Vista County Fair (Alta) dates for 2018 fair - July 8, 9, 10, and 11!!! Event schedule is being worked on now. If you have ideas or willing to volunteer, send a message!!

For five days at the end of July, the Buena Vista County Fairgrounds in Alta, IA hosts a family fun fair. The fairgrounds include a grandstand with a dirt track for Hobby Stock Races, Outlaw Truck and Tractor Pulls, Horse Shows and Enduro Car Races. Of all the county fairs in Iowa to attend, the Buena Vista County Fair is a must! Enjoy true Buena Vista entertainment with carnival rides, exhibitors, concerts, cornhole toss tournament, fair queen competition, 4-H livestock and much, much more.
